Greyhound's directors are members of the South Dublin County Council strategic environmental committee.  This committee provides briefing and advises on best practice for the council.
 
NI Environment & Heritage Service
Greyhound is a registered waste carrier & broker through the North and is also an approved importer of waste material into Northern Ireland.
 
Intertrade Ireland
In association with Intertrade Ireland, Greyhound has a dedicated research team working on development of a bio-diesel facility with assistance from QUESTOR Centre of Queens University Belfast as technical partner.  This facility is now capable of producing 10 million litres of bio-diesel per annum.  Greyhound was one of first waste companies to participate in a material development  fusion project for the generation of renewable fuels.
Queens University Belfast
Queens University Belfast was a technical partner to Greyhound under the fusion project for generation of renewable fuels.  This project focuses on the development of cross border technology and expertise.
Enterprise Ireland's Innovation Relay Centre
Greyhound is involved in Enterprise Ireland's Innovation Relay Centre.  This programme focuses on the  European wide transfer of technology and expertise initiative. 
 

Department of Transport
Greyhound is one of the recipients of the Department of Transport MOT relief scheme for the production of bio-diesel as an alternative renewable fuel.

Repak
Greyhound is a Repak Approved Waste Recycler and winner of the Repak Recycler of the Year award in 2003 and runner up in 2004 & 2005.

 
Irish Waste Management Association(IWMA)
Greyhound was a founder member of IWMA and is a regular contributor and participant to the advancement & development of waste industry codes of practice.
 
Inpendent Waste Paper Processors Association (IWPPA)
Greyhound is a member of the UK based “Independent Waste Paper Processors Association”. The IWPPA works to advise codes of practice and standards within the industry to keep up to date with legislation developments and promotes improved recycling rates.
 
Sligo I.T.
Greyhound works in partnership with Sligo I.T. providing training and open days to environmental science students, providing an insight into the waste management industry in Ireland.
 
AQSIQ Beijing
Greyhound is currently the only Irish company holding AQSIQ license as an importer of scrap materials to China.
 
UK Environment Agency (EA)
Greyhound is a recognised importer into the UK of waste derived material for recycling and recovery.
 
Dutch VROM
Greyhound is a recognised transporter via Dutch Ports of waste derived material.
