Hospitality
- Greyhound offers a diverse range of services to hotels, public houses and restaurants throughout Ireland.
- We develop bespoke recycling and recovery initiatives for our customers and have devised a multi-dimensional service that heightens awareness of the new recycling services we can offer.
- We liaise with our customers to offer continuous improvement programmes to ascertain where enhancements to ongoing services can be made.
- Our main goal is to improve our customers’ waste management and environmental performance which impacts on their bottom line. Our professional and highly trained staff conduct a waste audit, recommend the most economical and feasible method to handle waste streams.
- We offer continuous innovation and entrepreneurship and have pioneered value added measures and technologies to this industry by converting used cooking oil into a valuable resource know as bio diesel.
Hotels - Greyhound works closely with a variety of hotel groups and chains, one of which is the Ramada Hotel Chain.
- Greyhound implemented a tailored waste management solution designed to obtain optimum recycling rates; this system was integrated into all properties across a broad spectrum. This innovative package meant an annual cost saving to the hotel group in excess of 20% based on last year.
Public Houses - Greyhound works in partnership with public houses to cut costs on their waste management bill.
- We introduce waste management best practice measures and assign a key account manager that is responsible for monitoring and improving recycling and disposal costs while remaining compliant with EU directives and legislation.
Restaurants Greyhound service independent to large chain restaurants across Ireland and offer waste management programmes that add value to the businesses while reducing costs Case study: McDonalds in Ireland run their transport fleet on Greyhound’s bio diesel fuels. Our 'win win' partnership with McDonalds not only improves the environment we live in but also increases awareness on a global level.
